Payback- Laos Helicopter Environment
Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010)

 

In the Black Ops map Payback I did a majority of the environment work.  Because the player was in a natural environment from the perspective of a helicopter, it created some unique challenges.   In the past, we hadn't created detailed rock formations anywhere near this scale and initially we had technical limitations that wouldn't allow us to do it.  I had to work closely with the design and engineering departments to come up with a solution.
