Pinball Photography (2013)

While in college, I fell in love with pinball.   Every afternoon in college, I way too much money and time in the basement of the student union on flashing lights and silver balls.   The visceral experience felt so much more real and exciting than video games.   A few years ago I had a blast photographing a lot of older machines.   The machines from the 70's and earlier harken back to entertainment of a simpler time before everything was made from plastic and had to be based on the latest movie.   It's funny to think back to a time when 10 points as a bonus score really meant something.
